Wrote this with my sister many, many years ago when this site began. Recently rediscovered.

Yesterday, the rebellion seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they’re here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly, ObiWan’s half the man he used to be,
And his shadow’s hanging over me.
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why he had to go I don’t know he wouldn’t say. (“Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you can imagine?”)
I kept whining along, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, the practice droid was such an easy game to play.
Now losing limbs is here to stay…
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
