Star Wars Fonts

We have a couple of very different Star Wars fonts for you to download:

  • Aurabesh (27 Kbytes)- The alien script used in the Star Wars movies on walls, in pod racers and in other random places. Very cool; take a look.

  • StarVader (53 Kbytes)- The font used in the Star Wars title logo.

It’s just that I have been looking for. They actually put everything I needed to find for half a day. My whole desktop is almost totally Star Warsed. I even added some melodies to my mobile and I just like to listen to them. I haven’t seen a collection of Star Wars pictures this big until now. Plus were many good Star Wars links I’m Going to check out.

Thanks; that’s nice of you. Hope you enjoy the rest of the web site and come back for more :). Also, let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see here.

You can put it into C:/Windows/Fonts for MS Works to work; for Word you have to paste it into the font box.

Hi, i’vc downloaded the fonts, i get them unzipped into the Font directory of windows but i use open office and i can’t find them in this software does any one have a clue to make them apear (please don’t say something like that: Use MS word!”). Thank you for help! and nice work!

Windows claims that the ttf file downloaded, is not a valid font file.. could you perhaps post it again, or a zipped up version or something..thanks.

the s vader.ttf doesn’t work, it doesn’t even have a proper font icon. Belive me, I know what i’ talking about. These previous posts are proff to it…

@all, the StarVader font has been updated. It should work as expected now. Sorry for the trouble with that file 🙂

I’m making a b-day invite for my son’s 7th birthday. I was trying to figure out how to make the words look like they are scrolling back (like the beginning of the movies)—got any suggestions?

Cool fonts too~thanks!
Perfectionist mom

so how exaclty do you get this star vader font to work on word…like step by step because i have no idea what i am doing as you can see by my name lol…

I have added links to installation instructions in the article now; let me know if you still have any trouble. If not, congratulations- you are no longer a confusedperson! 🙂

Like confused mom, I am also trying desperately to make birthday party invitations in word so I need the star vadar font. I couldn’t get the links with the instructions to open. Can you help?

@Jayne, my mistake- the links have been repaired. Sorry ‘bout that!

How do you get the yelow outlining with the black inside on the Star Vader Font/

Just click on the words above “StarVader” or “Aurabesh” and your browser should prompt you to download the .zip file. Then you will have to open the .zip file with WinZip or some other similar program. Then follow the instructions provided in the links above on this page for Windows, Mac or Linux.

are your fonts copyrighted? I am doing a power point and if the font is copyrighted I will not be able to pack and go.

Being the nerdcore types we are, we decided to call ourselves the Stormtroopers (we were almost the Decepticons, which would have been cool), and I figured it was time to go font shopping and have some fun in PS. Aurabesh is so cool. Thanks! I’m having a hard time downloading it though, but still, ill get it! I’ll be downloading a lot more, so get a full stock. LOL!

Where’d you get this font? Not all the tops of the letters are straight, like the middle of the W, some of the stems dont match up, like if you type RS, as in wars, the leg of the R doesnt join with the S… 🙁
Damn I’m fussy…just ignore me…

Thanks so much, this is just what I needed to finish my tattoo idea. I appreciate your hard work and effort.

Star Vader isn’t the greatest font for Star Wars fans. I’ve created a font called “Astro” and the lettering is based on the classic “Star Wars” lettering from the original trilogy movie titling. I’ve created numerals, punctuation and international characters too. My Astro font is used on theforce.net and was also featured in the Star Wars Insider magazine. If you are interested, please check out my website. Thanks.

I’m having issues with the font…I downloaded, it shows in the font drop down but as soon as I save it it reverts it to a weird font (like Arial). Any ideas?
